Thunder Bay bound

Will be residing out in Thunder Bay for the foreseeable future. Won’t affect the iceboating in the least. I’ll be back home for periodic visits to get the iceboating in. And anyway, the DN iceboat racing scene is so much better out east. Maybe I should have brought a boat. . . or two?

Done a few expeditions over the winter months and have posted a few TV spots I did for CTV and ShawTV as well. Was in talks with Nautica Clothing and SailRacing out of Sweden, but nothing as of yet has panned out. To be continued…

Needless to say, the office took a seasonal break from the local sailing scene to pursue other interests this summer. Big boat long distance races? Kite boarding in exotic places? We’ll see what comes of it.

Back in November, we can thank the boys down in Bermuda (a wee vacation) for the motivation to go purchase a kite. Nothing like the winter to keep us busy with iceboating and now kiteboarding as well. Purchased a 10.5 m^2 made by Naish… Awesome video to come shortly!
